It *looks* nice, but how does it sound?

The Quicktime video is …slowly… loading in another browser window…over halfway through at this point…is there some point where the sound switches to what was recorded from your virtual instruments?

I know the song “Sails” very well, and have heard recordings of several live versions. But more to the point, I’m very familiar with the album version on A Little Extra Sun. Every nuance, right down to the levels of Megan’s self-backing vocals (which she’s told her fans she wasn’t very happy with; the album kinda got rushed into production) tells me that I’m not listening to any new performance.

That is a lovely article, and thank you for the ‘related’ link.

While Spirit is just a piece of machinery, its achievements and fate has indeed evolved into a legend which grand-grand-grand kids of today’s people will probably love hearing:-)

Also, it is always entertaining to read about the projects that did not succeed, the crashes … it boosts the glory of ones that exceeded the expectations (like the rover programme). Good to be reminded how difficult Space exploration is – I don’t envy NASA’s program manager his job.

I installed it, used it for a while and liked it, then made the mistake of trying to buy it when the beta expired.

I paid on Paypal, not notification from Paypal that they got the money but no response from them. I have also emailed them as directed with no response, it has been a week now and nothing.

If you have a iPad, use MobleMe from apple. If you have a iPhone4 or a iPad Apple waves the 99.00 a year fee and you can track you idevice for free.
Just setup a MobleMe account. Your iPad would have to have access to the internet, either by wifi or 3g.

This has to do with the boot rom. Which came out with the newer 3gs. On your model number is it a MB or MC ? MC is usually the newer boot rom. http://www.cmoslabs.com/blog/index.php/2010/06/ho…

Yes, you have to Jailbreak first. Then in Cydia you would load ultrasn0w to unlock. Have to wait till the new version of ultrasn0w comes out though. On the right side of this blog is a categories called iPhone / iPad Jailbreaking (30) . I will have a step by step instructions there when the unlock comes out.
